  Alzheimer's Tea Party Fundraiser Sunday, October 20 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm at the Sons and Daughters of Italy Association in Murrells Inlet.  Cost is $15.  Contact Alice Villavicencio at landavilla78@gmail.com.  Don't forget the Alzheimer's Walk on November 2 at the Market Common in Myrtle Beach.  

MISSION STATEMENT:

NARFE’S Chapter 1015 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, locally known as Meunier-Perry,  was founded in 1967 for all ACTIVE and RETIRED Federal Employees, their spouses, and survivors united to preserve their economic security and well-being. 

 

NARFE’S objectives are to: 

 Sponsor and support legislation to protect the benefits and general welfare of its members on issues such as health benefits, retirement, etc.;

 

 Inform members about legislative issues, primarily retirement income and health care benefits, taxation and COLAs;

 

 Strengthen the political influence of current and future federal retirees through NARFE-PAC, a political action committee;

 

 Cooperate with other organizations seeking to accomplish similar legislative goals;

 

 Work in partnership with the Office of Personnel Management to answer questions related to retirement benefits;

 

 Foster public recognition and appreciation of government service, and

 

Contribute to the well-being of local communities.

MEETING LOCATION:

 

 

 Chapter 1015, Myrtle Beach, SC, holds its monthly Chapter meetings on the 

third Thursday of each month beginning at 11:30 

a.m. at   Damon's Steak House, located at South Beach Boulevard,

Myrtle Beach.  Please call an officer to register in advance and arrive early.

 

 

No meetings in July and August.
